Lefty PS-900 at MGR, it's pretty all right and I couldn't find anything on the internet with that finish but I've already got one with the dark blue flame. Based on its original listing price of $300, I'd say it's overpriced by about $50 but these days, who knows?

https://www.rondomusic.com/ps900blueleft.html

What's kind of crazy is that they have a Jay Turser LP listed for $100 more...

A little off the fence, this RP360XP it´s not bad for $120 there in MGR (I didn´t need to know about this place, thanks @tobijohn ).

This one was an SX in captivity but it's somewhere out in the wild now:

A $115 lefty b-stock Liquid:

https://www.rondomusic.com/product10837.html

Seems to me he could have listed it at $150 and it would have sold quickly enough instead of practically giving it away....

You mean the green lefty JT? Thought I saw another one for less. I've always kept an eye out for a JT LP that had a serpent inlay, and a purple flamt top (of course). The original JT LPs had a dragon inlay only for a year I think, then they went to a serpent inlay with lots of colored tops. They are super rare, you never see them for sale.

Yes, my mistake, green is what I meant to type. As for the Jay Turser, I've seen pictures of those LPs with the serpent inlays (never a dragon one though) but never seen one for sale used. Now that i think about it, I haven't seen any new ones for sale either in quite a while. I've got three or four JT LPs, their version of a SG, a Strat and a bound Tele, they had the usual junky electronics but all are put together really well...

Here we go, this is what I'm talking about!

This shows how unusual some Agiles are out there. I don't even recognize this body, a custom tele w/gray burst (trans black) quilt top! Whaaaaaaaat It's got MOPs, 24" scale, matching headstock, and thin neck - I'm even thinking of hitting it! Now this to me is an Agile that's worth the $900.

There's one nearby here. $760 Cdn with case!

Makes me think that if I sold mine, I could do well.

That's $600 USD. Well, who's crazier, the one that's selling 'em at that price, or the one that's buyin' it.

Either that, or perhaps it's.... maybe the guy is smoking something. Isn't it legal up there?

Perhaps our Agiles are becoming good investments? :D

From my perspective, that would be a welcome event. FWIW, there's still an occasional half decently priced one every once and a while. I got this one for around $325 shipped, should be here next Monday:

@Buddha Pickups is working on a set of stealth Filtertron clones for it (full covers)...

What did he mean with "Al-3000 lefty 2000s spalted..."? Perhaps that it is a post 2000 year guitar? Can´t think of anything else.

NIce looking guitar all the same...

I assumed he meant it was manufactured some time between the mid 2000s when the 3000 series first appeared and 2010 or so. I believe the last AL-3000s were made in 2015/16. @toomanycats has done extensive research on this and would know for sure...

You just don't see this variety of guitar out there, here's another good example of unique Agile guitars. This one is an AD semi-custom Tiger Eye (i.e. boneyard) finish, with a floyd! Whaaaaaaaaaat!! I bought this one.

He needs to drop the price $300 a few more times!
That is the ugliest Agile I have ever seen!

It is definitely an...unusual semi-custom. The thing people really don't seem to get about the custom ordered Agiles is they're really not worth any more used than a standard one in terms of market value because there is nothing "better" about them than the standard models. I've purchased several semi-customs used from GC and they cost me $200, $250, and $300.

This one also has a bunch of pretty unusual options which makes it an even harder sell (ultra short scale, etc). The ad also mentions an "unauthorized" body style, which isn't true...this is just a semi-custom based on the Agile TC630 model.

Damn! For $400, I should put the stock pickups back in my AL 3000 tobacco and sell it. I haven’t played the thing at all since I got the AD-3200 and I really should either find a use for it or move it.

This beauty sold on Reverb several years ago. I've been looking for one similar to it ever since.Image

It would be cool to create an Agile/SX/Douglas repository/database online.
It would contain:
The model # and finish
A link to the Rondo page if available
A picture
Maybe purchase price?

That one is a really good example of Rondo's tribal purple, one of the best I've seen. They might call it quilt (my avatar is a quilt), but to me seems tribal purple. Surprised I didn't see that one (er, perhaps I just don't remember it).

An AL-4000 just showed up this morning on Reverb. At $600 +shipping, it's not a deal except if you're a collector. However, considering they went for $700 new w/o a HSC, their rarity and the current level of pricing in the used market, if it could be had for $500, I don't think there would be any shame in that:
