What is neck height at 1st fret on the 3100mcc and 3200mcc, on rondo it says there the same neck specs and 19.5mm at 1st fret.

Are they the same exact neck size at 1st fret? I had the ad3200 and felt it had a slimmer neck than my 3100mcc but maybe I thought it felt smaller at that time . Maybe it was smaller being the satin finish instead of the gloss finished neck?! I didnt have calipers to measure it or I would remember.
Just want to confirm the 3100mcc and 3200mcc are the same neck size . Since I sold my 3100mcc and regret it finally and thinking about buying a 3200 to replace it before they disappear like the 3100s are.

I have a 2016 3100MC and a 2020 3100MCC but no 3200. My 3100MC 1st fret thickness is .84" or 21.4mm. My 3100MCC 1st fret thickness is .85" or 21.7mm.

I hope this helps.

The al3100mcc I had was from 2018-19 and id swear it was probably 21.5mm like your saying and when I got the al3200 it seemed much smaller. I have owned so many guitars its hard to keep up but the ad3200 I got was more like an ibanez jem neck feel much slimmer. Maybe It was due to the satin finish not having the same thickness as the gloss do.
When I look up any older 3100mcc on a search b stocks and other older colors come up on rondo they all say 19.5mm lol.

I don't have a caliper to measure but just looking at it, it's obvious to me that the A3200MCC neck is thinner than an AL-3100MCC neck, especially at the first fret...

Thanks! I figure this to be the case but why do all the listings say there the same neck specs? I just emailed rondo about the size question to be sure sure in the end thinking maybe the 2023-2024 models of 3100 are the same as the 3200 we will see tomorrow.

FWIW, both guitars were from the first batch of new style AL-3100MCC and AL-3200MCCs which was I think about five years ago or so...

I might be wrong, but thinking about it I seem to recall back then that the AL-3200MCC came from a different factory than the AL-3010s and AL-3100MCCs. I doubt they now come from different sources so you very well might be correct that both neck profiles are the same...

Rondo replied "Well assuming you originally had a standard neck model (there were as many as 4 neck sizes, slim, wide damn wide, and a few thicker models) yes at the first fret the 3100 and 3200 should be the same."

I do believe there different thickness at 1st fret sizes through the years, the sx callisto cus I have it says on site its 20.6mm neck its 22mm at 1st. I see some al3100 made in vietnam on headstock and others say korea, I think only the factory would know the true measurements anymore lol.

I did find a youtube video where guy has the newer 2023-2024 models of the 3100 and 3200 and says the 3200 is a slimmer neck and like a ibanez wizard neck same as I thought.

FWIW, I have a couple of those Vietnamese AL-3100MCCs, and the build quality is just as good as the Korean ones...
