i thought most of the AL above 2000 have 1-11/6" nut width (except the wide and damn wide)
The 4000 says 1 5/8". Interesting.

I noticed that too and am wondering if it's another example of Kurt's copy and paste errors

At one point, they were all 1 5/8” at the nut except for the wide 1 3/4” models regardless of model level. It was a common complaint that the Agile AL series didn’t come with a 1 11/16” nut.

Here's an unusual one (at least for me), not only is it a goldtop AD but it's got two P90's and it's a lefty!
Looking again I see this is a Rondo listing, is this new (off the boat) or has it been there?

According to the dual listing on the Rondo site, it's sold out, not sure how many there were to begin with but probably only two. I think that there have been three separate batches of lefty AD-3200s, this model was also in the second. Of the regulars here, @BatUtilityBelt and I each bought one in the second round which was the first time it was offered. I've got a set of Dimarzio PG-13 minis, pickguard and knob pointers that I will eventually add to mine a for a Deluxe style look...

Aw that's cool TBJ! I didn't see the details/stock. It's a nice guitar. When did that second batch come in?

I got that semi-custom AD that I need to do a NGD for.

It's my favorite Agile, just a great combination of details. I actually like the stock pickups a lot - Rondo calls them P90s, but they're coil-tappable P100s.

I bought one of those and a CSB plain top AD-3200 the third week of December 2020, bought a Tobacco 2ts AD-3200 (which was the first batch) a little more than a year before that...

However, considering they went for $700 new w/o a HSC, their rarity and the current level of pricing in the used market, if it could be had for $500, I don't think there would be any shame in that:

I would have thought 4000's had the old headstock. Thats all before my time.
In end of 2012, when I ran into Agiles and AGF, I think 3000M's were the top dollar AL available at Rondo and sold for 599$

I have two of the original Al3000m's one being a CSB and the other a Honey burst. They were $300.00 back in the day.

Happy Birthday to me! Bought this lovely Agile last week and it will be perfect as soon as I change the knobs to some that are clear or gold.

I honestly don't know the model as it was a custom order. The color could be Tribal Purple but not sure of that either. It's a neck-through design and super-comfortable to play.

I removed the pick guard and recently changed out the knobs (I thought the white ones distracted from the beautiful purple finish).

Now I'm thinking about having new pick-ups installed. The originals are okay but I'd like something with a little more clarity and high end tone. Any suggestions?

I do not understand why, but a lot of Rondo's choices for knobs on their guitars remind me of acne.
They look like zits on the guitar top!
Just my opinion.

So the one on the right is your new custom? What's the one on the left?

You have two really VERY NICE purple Agiles!!! (more than me!)

Now this one isn't THAT unusual, besides a display of a color that's supposed to be purple (it looks similar to two the purple customs I returned because they turned out fuschia), the color is actually really cool and really different.

This one isn't for me, but it would be a great chick guitar!!!

Calling Ally Venable!! I've met her a couple of times, I think she's a really good player and it's nice to see someone holding the torch for blues guitar, especially that's she's young (and nothing to speak of that she's a she). Actually saw her a couple of weeks back with the Kenny Wayne Shepherd, great to see TWO great guitarists. But she's got a Gibby in purple, one of the 1990 Special Colours edition, which are gorgeous but are known to be very fuschia-ey, perfect feminine guitar. We also talked about my Classic Trans Purple which those can be very fuschia-ey but mine is one of the least so that I've seen. She might like this Purple (ahem, pink) Agile!

They're the same guitar. The one on the left is the way it appeared when I bought it a couple weeks ago and on the right how it looks today without the pick guard and with new volume and tone knobs.

I'm not really sure how rare these are. I remember seeing the agile strats, but not in quite a while. This one popped up locally and I think it still has the original strings. I'm not really a strat with buckers guy, but how can you not pick it up for 100 bucks. I will say the bridge on it is one of the best trem bridges I have ever messed with. I believe it's the ST-1000 Fat

I´d die for one of those! Yes, it´s a ST-1000 Fat if memory serves well. Would be great if you post a separated NUGD thread once you play it enough for a verdict. Sound samples and/or video would be an enjoyable plus!

Congrats on this find, lucky guy!

least expensive, I might go with artec Giovanni 1

more expensive Jim Wagner...his crossroads set,

IMO, best bet might be to ask Buddha Pickups to wind you a set. His hum size p90' is very good. I bet his hums to custom spec would be the best way to go for your exact satisfaction....or Andrew, here posting recently.

might be nice on that to keep the single coil basic with hum size p90's.
Buddha's are nice, clear to growly punch.
