My fave Agiles models are the:

Harm, AL-3200
I disagree. There are a whole range of guitars in the AL series but they are all basically a Les Paul clone with many & varied features.

But the AL (whatever the model) is very different from a Harm or an AS or a Valk, etc.

I own only an AD-201, but now that they're not available for lefties, I'd love to get a Harm. Would I be happier with humbucker or P-90 pickups in a harm?

My favorite Agile is the Harm. The one I have was a custom that I bought used.
It came with AlNiCo P-90's which were too bland for my taste in P-90's.
I ended up getting T.V.Jones t o make a set of his Classic/Classic Plus humbuckers in soapbar mounts.
I'm a happy camper. :D

Regardless, the AL is the clear winner as the favorite model, AND the AD the second one.

Any of those, in 3200 form, would make it for me.

My AL 3010SE is my last Agile standing and a great guitar that I still enjoy

But I gotta say both my baritone Septor Elite 627 and my 7-string Septor Elite 727 (my first Agiles) were KILLER instruments. just wonderful players with excellent fit and finish. i often miss them/regret selling them, but my musical style has shifted for the time being
frogs love to eat flies,
the devil's name, Beelzebub, lord of the flies
evil spirits love to spiritually feed upon those whom Beelzebub rules

I'm surprised that no one has yet selected the Valk?
I have one & it comes second only to my Harm in the Agile range.

AL got my vote.

This semi-custom AL 3xxx was bought in '13 and is one
that gets some regular play time. I like it more than the Axcess in
the pic and not just because of the extra couple frets. It's the sound
and feel.

I'm not really sure which one to vote for... I came here for the ALs back in '08, but having owned a 3100 and a 3100MCC, I had to finally admit to myself that I find LP-style guitars uncomfortable to play... Though I still think ALs are awesome guitars.

My next choice would be the AD-2200. The original one:

But since these don't exist anymore, and my attempt to resurrect it (with a slightly modified design) ended up getting all wonked out of proportion, I've given up hope of owning another one. I still regret selling this guitar, and I've not seen another since.

That brings me down to the Harm 3/12. Probably the best electric 12-string I've ever played (and I owned a Rickenbacker 330/12 immediately before I bought the Harm). The stock pickups sounded naff, but it was effortless to play.

I didn't like the PG either (and the one that came on this guitar was mirrored too... ugh), so I drew up this design and had the legendary TWANG cut it for me. I believe tobijohn had one made for one (or more) of his Harms too.

Your old Harm 12 string has to be my favorite Agile of all time. And yes, I had Ryan (Floridian FX cut one similar to yours for a lefty three pickup 6 string Harm...

Thanks John :D I thought you got your pickguard during the TWANG years... There was another AGF member (can't remember who it was at the moment), who asked me if I would mind if TWANG made one for his Harm too... I think I might have confused you with him.

Ryan actually made it for me before I had seen yours. After that, I was going to have him redo one exactly like yours but he retired. it's still on my to-do list

I see all sorts of cool guitars here. I will have to vote for the 3100 that I have had for a little over a week as it is the only one that I own and the only one I ever played. Would be really cool if there was someplace that you could go try out all of the different models.

I love them all but the AD-2300 and (AD-2200 Reissue) body styles really blow up my skirt:

The new ACF is flaky when it comes to uploading pics, there have been previous threads on this. If you click on the pic though, it should enlarge and display in the correct orientation (at least it does for me)...

I voted al, but technically my fav are the old lp2500 models. It's odd, because both of mine are the same just one with buckers and one with p90s. They don't spec like the higher end 3k models. They are mahogany body, with flamed maple veneer, but no solid maple cap. They have set maple necks and rosewood boards. They are right in typical lp weight and play identically. For some reason, they just have "it" whatever it is, they ring out forever and you just want to play em. If one were like that, I would just assume you got a good one, but both ring out the same way.

My AL3100 is a top contender, but so is the Ghost Pro. I really can’t choose which I prefer
