This is unusual in the sense that there were never too many examples of the AR series here in stores.

Considering that it goes for $650 new (Sweetwater), the local price here of $750 including a hard case seems reasonable to me, considering it is new.

Ibanez ar.jpg
Ibanez AR420

Now asking $600 - Includes Ibanez hard case

Now this is a competitive price, considering it´s new. I´ve just checked Sweetwater prices, and it´s $650 for the guitar and $175 for the case. $825 total. In the US.

It´s hard to sell a guitar of that price here. I guess they prefer some cash in hand than a guitar collecting dust from 2021.

Maestro by Gibson - Les Paul guitar. $150

Maybe not rare or unusual. Fair price?

My understanding is that Maestro is Gibson's ultra-budget line, below Epiphone. I wouldn't bother at $150.

It´s like a junior Les Paul junior, I guess.

Saw one on Reverb for $120.

Not exactly rare or unusual, I know...
Comes with a hard case SKB. Seller asks $800.
Not sure about the color, though... ;)
LP Studio 1.jpg
A real Gibson Les Paul and hardshell case for $800 is always a good deal. I would offer $700 if it were local, stayed for sale for a month or so and be willing to pay $800.

Ibanez AXS32 Dark Red Stained Flat - $250

Looks in good shape, minor cosmetic details. Those guitars are all mahogany and rosewood fretboard. Would they be prone to neck dive? I admit I have a thing for those guitars, but I don´t know if I would like them (I´m not buying, for the record).

Reverb prices (only two, in the US): $238+$50 shipping, and other for $459+$48 shipping (I know that one thing is the price listed and other what they actually sell for).

I haven't played these reissues, although I like to. I fondly remember the originals and they were great.

:) I didn´t know these were reissues, actually. I love them from the first time I saw one, and when googling about it I found out there was "an original". Haven´t played any or seen one in the flesh, but I´m sure they´ll be great to play.

Decent solid state Fender amp, but priced at about double what it should be.

Not strange or unusual, but I haven´t seen a Jay Turser appear around here for a while (somehow this guitars remind me of @mickey ; it´s similar to one he has).

Good conditions overall, plays great - according to seller -.

Thats a good looking guitar, Sabas. It speaks to me.
"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted."

I used to see a lot of Jay Turser guitars in the local mom and pop music stores during my travels. It has been awhile since I have seen one too.

If it's really in good condition, I don't think he's asking too much at all! Those regularly sell for way more than that on Reverb.

Well, it looks like it´s a SG1000 model, I didn´t notice that before. Yes, seems to be a good price, even for the venezuelan market. He has been selling it for a while, though; it´s a lot of coin for regular mortals here, hehe :?

Update - I contacted the seller -:

3rd owner. Original mics and electronics, no modifications. Overall in good conditions, no repairs or anything, just some signs of use, of course.

I looked into the specs, and nut width is 44 mm (1 3/4 inches). That´s great!

PEAVEY SC-3 LES PAUL STYLE GUITAR - $200

Now this is not strange, but I never thought I´ll see one of those Peavey SC series guitars around here. Looks like a nice model. Seller says is in good conditions, and that it has not been used much.

Some of its features:

In addition to the three-way toggle switch included on all HP Single Cut models, the HP SC-3 has a pull pot that switches the middle pickup on and off. All HP Single Cut guitars feature treble-compensated volume controls that enhance pickup clarity at low volume levels. HP Single Cut guitars are crafted from basswood with an integral center body section, carved top and a deep lower cutaway with scoop for extended access to the upper register. The HP SC-3 and HP SC-2 feature a set hard rock maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.

I never knew Peavey made such a creature. I miss my old T-25 from the early 80's. That was the only Strat style guitar I have owned that I bonded with and like to play. It was my only electric guitar for about 15 years. I think it was around $300 new and I had to make payments. Now the same guitar is selling for more than twice that.

That Peavey sounds like an insanely good deal if it's in good condition. That's an uncommon model, so there's not a lot of info on it, but the Peavey fans in the US would probably trample each other to death trying to get to it for $200.
