Been a while since my last NGD! Wasn't really planning on picking up another guitar right now but I came across this stunner for an amazing price and had to grab it, especially considering the fact that every single spec is one that I would have chosen (apart from the pickup color, but those are getting swapped anyway). Just started a new job a few weeks ago, so let's call this impulse buy a celebration of that :).

For specs we have a beautiful swamp ash body with a koa top, 5 piece maple/walnut neck, and a birdseye maple fretboard with jumbo stainless frets. Weighs in at only 5.8 lbs. I built this exact build on Kiesel's website and it came to $3,319, was able to grab this for just a hair over $1500.

Since I already have 3 headless Kiesels (a Vader, a Zeus, and a Type X) I know what to expect and have no doubt this one will blow me away as my others have. Will post more pics in a few days when it lands (along with a full review), but here she is for now. As always, click to blow 'em up to full size.

Nice, I picked up a (edit: Kiesel) headless multi scale in trade for a McCarty I picked up cheaply plus some cash. I guess I have about $1K into it and it's only got one small ding. It's a very nice guitar, maybe wider of a radius than I would ever chose, but the multi scale turns out to be a lot of fun.

I think I brought it to @andrewsrea and while I don't think it was exactly his thing, I don't think he had anything negative to say either.

I was surprised for how catywhopmus a fan-fret guitar looks, there was little acquaintance / adjustment time to play it. That said, I also did not feel any playing or tone advantage the multi-scale guitar had to another guitar.

I did a try a multiscale Vader and it wasn't for me (maybe it's my playing style but for some reason it felt like it cramped my hand up), but I absolutely love Kiesel's headless offerings overall. The 3 I have are my favorite guitars out of a stable of about 30, and I'm pretty sure this 4th one will join those ranks.

Here are the other 3, awaiting the new family member:
