Thomastik-Infield Strings

@mickey may know if these, but many AGF'ers may not.
Thomastik-Infield all-nickel flatwound strings. They get a 'high' recommendation from me.
My experience over the decades has been that flatwounds sound like a blanket was put over your strings. A friend recommended them to me in 2019 and I bought a set of 10's (JS110) and 11'2 (JS111), both with wound 3rd strings.
The 11's immediately went onto my Epiphone Zephyr Deluxe full hollowbody a year ago. They had a much brighter response, yet a cool percussion which really sounded cool on that acoustically (I rarely plug her in). I play this guitar about 6 hours a month. After three years - still sounds like new.
I've been reluctant to put the 10's on my Epihone Casino VS Bigsby, because it has sounded great with roundwound nickels. I changed them today Wow! Moved more into Beatles territory, but still has impressive brightness and overall tone balance string to string. Sounds fantastic electric and acoustically. It nails the rockabilly and jazz stuff, but still can rock!
At $34 a set it may seem pricey, but they last a silly long time. Especially, I typically create fret divots on the 4th (D) string within hours of playing. These have been impervious to my string shaking and bending.
