Just arrived, and yep...it's another winner! Been lusting after a custom strat with a solid rosewood neck for a few years after playing one of the Fender Professional rw strats, spotted this one for a measly $499 and pulled the trigger immediately as it was at least triple that price new.
Hipshot locking tuners, 920D Seymour Duncan Everything Axe loaded pickguard, nice high quality trem, and just a really classy build. Was hoping for stainless frets and my wish came true there as well. Not sure what the make of the body is or the wood, will have to see if there are any clues in the cavities but it's definitely quality. Neck is Warmoth so the body probably is too.
Few pics here with some clips to come, and I'm off to spend my lunch break with it.

Yeah I’m feeling regret for waiting this long to own a guitar with a rosewood neck, the feel is *chef’s kiss*.JimyTheAssassin wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 2:40 pm I love it. That neck is so chocolatey. Yum

Thanks! The neck itself costs more new than I paid for the entire thing so I knew I had to grab it. Will post some clips today!

Thanks man! Recording some clips as we speak, super versatile guitar with the 920D loaded guard so I’ll post a few different ones.

Thanks dude! Should be posting some clips up before the end of the weekend, been doing some recording with it here and there today. Think I'm going to let go of one of the Warmoths now that there's 4...this one is really killer and is definitely dislodging one from the collection.Mossman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 8:43 pmslowhand84 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 2:23 pm Just arrived, and yep...it's another winner! Yeah, I don't like keeping redundancies or B-list guitars around... Or just guitars that I know I won't play anymore. Glad that one's good enough to knock one of your previous favorites off the hill.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 9:01 pm

Yeah I wouldn’t call any of them B-list, at least in terms of the build. Basically the deal is it comes down to neck profile preference...the Warmoth I will probably sell has a neck that’s just a bit thinner than I prefer, so I end up playing that one less than the others. They’re all very well built with great specs, but that one just isn’t getting the playtime it deserves and this new one’s profile is perfect so I think that other one’s going to go.Mossman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:09 pmYeah, I don't like keeping redundancies or B-list guitars around... Just adding a little clip in here, nothing special but a little BB King blues style action using my little Vox MV head and a bit of reverb.

That sounds nice, Slowhand.

Thanks! Just some noodling but the guitar's got a nice amount of versatility with these pickups. That was the Lil 59 neck pickup in the previous clip, and here's another little clip using the middle pickup (the Duckbucker) which is a lot spankier. Same exact settings and same backing track as the other one.

Yeah. That is a nice tone, too.

Thanks! This was a snag from a few weeks ago but just finally got around to posting a clip or two. Gotta do a few with distortion also, some surprisingly tight metal tones exist in this guitar too

Yeah, I didn't mean "B-list" in terms of quality, but in terms of preference. An expensive, high-quality guitar can end up on the B-list if you prefer playing something else.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:47 pmYeah I wouldn’t call any of them B-list, at least in terms of the build. That is very true, and thank you! Gotta get that distortion clip up here tomorrow.Mossman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 10:06 pmYeah, I didn't mean "B-list" in terms of quality, but in terms of preference.
