Fender MIM Nashville Telecaster $750
I´ve seen some of them on Reverb for less, so, it´s not "the deal". What might be "the deal" here is that you don´t see them here in every corner.

Agile AL3000 Tobacco Sunburst - $350
Had to sell my Agile some months ago.
Surprise is to find it´s for sale by the person who bought it. Don´t think it´ll sell at that price, even though he´s including a semi hard case with it.

WASHBURN SB80 ELECTRIC GUITAR $280
Haven´t seen anything interesting for a while - to my eyes, at least, and wasn't really looking, to be honest -, but this showed up a couple of days ago and grabbed my attention.
I've never seen this Washburn guitar before. How about you, guys?
Looks interesting to me, I actually kinda like it, even though the horns seem to be too open for me, I don't know, but still, the guitar doesn´t look bad, looks nice.
Searching about it I found out this model was made in the early 90s, like 1993-1996. Samick made (Korea).
Guy is asking $280. A quick Reverb search showed one for $499, and an old listing for $425.
Not the best looking headstock, that's for sure.

I've never played any Washburns, but that's probably because lefties are few. It looks like the pickups are probably original, but someone has done some work on it, because the screws on the pickup rings don't match. Maybe they were stripped, or maybe lost. The only way I'd buy it is if I could play it myself to gauge its condition. On Reverb pricing, I would go by what they have recently sold for, not how much anyone is asking for one. Listed prices can be far off actual value. I wouldn't suspect $280 is high though.

Yes, I thought the same about the pickup rings, and also, the color doesn't match the pickguard.BatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 12:09 am I've never played any Washburns, but that's probably because lefties are few. For the style and quality of the guitar and the prices around here, yes, it's what anybody would ask for one of those. Maybe $220-250 would be a more fair price; still, is not a bargain.
I don't know if I would buy such an old guitar - I'd like my next guitar to be a new one -. Wear-out frets would be my main concern, because of the cost to put it in playable conditions, aside from any crack in the wood or something similar. As you say, it has to be inspected and played in person.

VOX JAMVOX MONITORING SYSTEM - $80
Ok, this is not a guitar, but I don't think there are many of this here. By the time it was launched, it was very well received and it offered very nice options. not sure how good would it be these days, though. Would be nice, though, I think.

PEAVEY SIGNATURE SERIES EX GOLD TOP - $200
Ok. I never knew about this one. I kinda like several Peavey guitars. And I LOVE first fret inlays - not dots, please -.
I believe I read it has a 44 mm nut width, which is great.
There's some info I pasted below the pictures.
A solid instrument you can trust for good sound.
Named after Peavey's founder and CEO, Hartley Peavey, the HP Signature EX Guitar is the ultimate refinement of the playability, tone, style, and technology Peavey has developed over the past 39 years. It's built on a solid foundation, using the finest selected woods, hardware, and pickups for brilliant tone as well as a distinctive, unmistakable appearance.
This HP Signature EX Guitar is constructed using basswood for a warm, full sound, and the Dual-Compression Bridge for longer sustain, and a veneer quilt maple top for flashy looks. The Dual-Compression Bridge system is a unique, string-through design creating a metal-to-metal connection for singing sustain and stronger string presence.
The rosewood fretboard provides a finger-friendly playing surface, while 2 patented, dual-wound, hum-canceling pickups provide high output and unmatched tone. The Peavey HP Signature EX also features quality Grover tuners, 2 volume knobs, one tone knob, and a 3-way, toggle-style pickup selector.
Features
Basswood body
Veneer maple top
Rosewood fretboard
Stop tailpiece bridge
Patented, dual-wound, hum-canceling pickups
3-way, toggle-style pickup selector
