Probably weird that I came across Martin Miller after being interested in the development of the Ibanez AZ and who they'd made signature variants for:
Paul Gilbert has long been one of my favorite of the virtuoso shredders to emerge out of the late 80s and 90s although he's always been so much more than just a shredder. I've always loved his sense of rhythm.
