A few Agiles I have listed on Reverb - AGF brothers can knock $50 off the price of any of them right away. Message me or something so I know you are an AGF Brother and I won't haggle you back.
All the guitars are in great shape, and they all come with cases. I hope I don't make it onto the Cracked Out Agile Sellers thread with any of these. Although not a "steal," I feel like the prices are decent and pretty fair, especially for the condition of these guitars.
There will be more listed in the coming days, so maybe you want to follow me as a seller, or whatever. Unfortunately I have a leaky roof, hence the sell-off. The whole thing makes me sad on so many levels. I really hate doing this.

Quick notes I forgot to put above:
The toggle switch on the mini-humbucker will need to be changed. It's clearly listed in the description, but I just want to be extra-forthcoming here. I already lowered the price because of it. Otherwise the guitar is mint. I If I knew how to solder, I would fix it myself, but I don't, so... there's that.
And the black flame is a "slim," with a volute. We were talking about volutes in another thread, trying to figure why some models have it and others don't. Maybe it has something to do with the slim necks.

Thank you, gents!
The one and only way I would ship internationally would be for an AGF Brother, but shipping costs alone would probably make that option extremely unappealing.
Here's an anecdote... I got an offer on one of the guitars. It was from a jeweller, offering me what sounded like a very nice watch in exchange for one of the guitars. It was worded very nicely, and I actually think it was legit and not a scam. He wasn't offering a Rolex or anything with gold or diamonds, or anything overblown like that. He only mentioned stainless steel, a nice Crystal, and fine workmanship. I got the impression it might have been a watch he constructed himself, perhaps. I don't know. It never got past first base. Unfortunately, I need cash, so I had to decline the gentleman's offer. I just thought it was very interesting to receive something like that. My mom used to say, "There's a first time for everything!"
If I had said yes, I wonder how the exchange would have happened. Surely I would have had to receive the watch first and have had to have it examined.

Hey! Thank you so much! I appreciate that!
I may be listing another 3200 today. It's pretty heavy if I remember correctly.

I have a lot of guitars.. too many. I love them, and I really relax and get into it when I'm plinking around or working on a guitar (to the extent of my non-soldering ability), but the truth is, I don't play very well. I'm actually a pretty good drummer, but my guitar skills are meh, at best. Although my skills are limited, I do have a real passion and appreciation for guitars.
A couple Saturdays ago, I also learned I have a leaky roof. It's a big, old, 2 family house, literally 100 years old. The roof has to be a complete tear-off, down to the wood, and it needs to have a ridge vent installed. It's going to be expensive. I don't have that kind of money, so I'm trying to minimize the loan I will need as much as possible by thinning the herd a little. That's the whole, sad truth.
What am I keeping? Well, I still have a few tricks left up my sleeve. I have a couple original horn (and, by default, headstock) Agiles, a few original headstock (only) Agiles, a matching headstock, neck thru Agile 3000, and favorite Agile or 2 that I just like playing and that I think are beautiful instruments.
I also have a couple other LP knockoffs from other budget brands, like SX, Jay Turser and Davison. Their horn shapes are a little closer to the originals, and, although I've never actually weighed them, to my naked hands, overall, and just a generalization to which there may be some exceptions, they mostly feel a little lighter in weight than Agiles, so I like them. I bet they are using different types of wood to construct them... Maybe not mahogany and maple, like Agiles. I'm not talented enough to care about tonal differences, so the lighter weight ones are just fine for me. What good is great tone when the note is sour?
As far as non-LP models, I have a bunch of SX strat and tele types, a couple Agile Harms... One of those may be going up on the block soon, only because there are 2 of them, and a white Douglas WNO. I think I'll keep that as long as I can.
I have one, actual, big- brand name guitar.. a beautiful, red Gretsch 2655T. It's a lower rung model, but I really like it. It's a fine enough instrument for me. I wouldn't do any justice to a higher priced instrument.
As more of a collector and appreciator of guitar beauty, most of my guitars are in really nice condition and barely played. I have a 1960's Kent guitar that I absolutely love playing, and that one gets most of my abuse. I take it around the house and plinknaway on it. Most of the others stay securely locked in their cases. Some are new, directly from Rondo, and some are pre owned, either thru Reverb, GC, evilBay, or Craigslist. I'm pretty picky about the condition of the used instruments I buy.
Here's the thing.. I sort of switched addictions about 7 years ago. I quit smoking cigarettes. I had quit a couple other addictions in years prior, but cigarette smoking was, by far, the hardest to drop, and that habit hung on me the longest. Anyway, I was a heavy smoker.. 2 pack a day heavy. Sometimes more if I was stressed out.
Anyway, as my addicted brain works... I rationalized that since I was saving so much money from quitting smoking - they had reached close to $10 a pack in my area at that time - I decided that I deserved some sort of reward for my Herculean efforts (lol), and I had always been a fan of guitars. I had been the drummer for a few bands in earlier years, so I had access to guitars, and people with guitars. I had one guitar in my teens, a Dean Z super strat, red and black, then nothing guitar-wise till about 7 years ago. That's when it all started.
Unfortunately, as my addicted brain also works, a "once in a while" treat of a nice guitar turned into more and more of a regular thing, and eventually, sort of an obsession/compulsion and addiction all its own. I became a very aggressive buyer.
Here is the extent of my insanity... I had (maybe still have) convinced myself that if I was still smoking, all the money I spent on cigarettes would have gone up in smoke, never to be recouped. True. And I convinced myself that by buying guitars, I was actually investing in my daughter's college fund, because some day I could just sell them all off and get a big chunk of money to send her to school. I was hoping that by the time her college rolled around, all the Agile guitars I had amassed would have skyrocketed in value, and I'd be a star at a Sutheby's (spelling?) auction, or some such, liquidating my valuable collection of priceless guitars, with throngs of people clamoring to buy them.
OK... Right. Nice vision. Delusional, but nice.
Anyway, a big house repair bill has snapped me back into reality, and I now realize that Agiles are more for playing than collecting. A guitar and case and shipping that I paid around $500 for, I can not easily re-sell at $350 or even $300. That's a pretty bad return on investment. There is no, "snap your fingers and money comes falling from the sky." It does not work that way. Listing these things is a royal pain. It takes me hours to photograph and write them up. And boxing / packing is something that, for some strange reason, I actually ENJOY doing, and I actually take great pride in my packing, but MAN, that takes up another chunk of time, too. And getting to the post office or the UPS store, or whatever... That's all time that I could be doing other things to earn money... Not lose money and time on selling guitars.
For one or 2 guitars it's not so bad, and actually kind of fun, but when you have a while bunch to get through, it's very time consuming and labor intensive.
So from now on (...taking the pledge that I will inevitably break as soon as the roof is done and behind me), I will focus more on quality than quantity, and I will keep my guitar collecting to a reasonable level. (Right.). For investing in the future I will find some mutual funds or get into the S&P 500 or something, not Agile guitars. Maybe I will bet it all on a company to get to the Covid finish line with a vaccine first. Lol. Gambling was another addiction I have had to deal with, besides substances.
Fortunately, since the birth of my daughter, whose love and unwavering belief in me, has given me the will and the strength to try to become a better person, I've got most of my issues in check... except the guitar thing. That really got ahead of me. It's time to cut it back a little. What's the total number? I don't know. Enough to have a bunch in storage and still have too many laying around the house.
I'm no TJ, but he is my role model... Even though he is a lefty. Haha, just kidding. No Ill will toward lefties.

If it's more your style, I have a "wide" 3200MCC in tobacco (or maybe 2TS, depending on your definitions) getting ready for a photoshoot right now.
It's immaculate, with a case, and it will be priced same as the black flame, with the same AGF Brotherhood offer in full effect. Stand by if you are interested. It should be up sometime tonight.

Interested in seeing that one too...older or newer generation? Iβm still really liking the top on the 3000 though.Buddy wrote: βWed Jul 29, 2020 3:53 pmIf it's more your style, I have a "wide" 3200MCC in tobacco (or maybe 2TS, depending on your definitions) getting ready for a photoshoot right now.

OK - Quick heads up if anyone is interested!
This one is all typed up and ready for me to list on Reverb this afternoon. I figured I'd give my Agile family a sneak peek, first chance before it goes up to the public.
This is a wide neck profile. I'll attach the link to the Rondo listing so I don't have to type it all out. If you click on the SPECS part, it will give you all the details and measurements about the wide neck.
https://www.rondomusic.com/product9404.html
This guitar is heavy! About 10 and a half pounds! Rondo says 10, but it is wrong by a half pound.
The guitar and case are both mint.
It's going to be listed at $449.99 plus $50 shipping on Reverb. I'll take $400 plus $50 shipping from an AGF Brother.
One additional detail... this guitar was made in Vietnam, not South Korea. IMHO, the quality is just as excellent as the South Korean standard we are used to. I do not see any drop off in quality in this instrument what so ever. It's beautifully done. Just stating this because it's "odd" for an Agile, that's all.
Let me know... if no replies, I will post the Reverb link when I put it up later. I will be away from my computer for the next few hours.

Well this investment was many times better than cigarettes going up in smoke. Since we are all only in a race against our former selves I'd say you are killing it. Good for you. Makes total sense to be selling some off. I have somewhat of a collection too that I somehow "justified" a bit more than was practical. Glad to hear you'll still have a nice selection to keep you busy.Buddy wrote: βWed Jul 29, 2020 3:43 pmI have a lot of guitars.. too many. Will do! Finding a 3200 under 8.5 lb will be difficult, but I will let you know if I come across one. Aside from the two 3200's I have shown here, the black flame and the plain top tobacco, shown above, I *think* I only have 2 more left. I will probably try to keep those, but I will let you know if they go up on the block and fit the criteria.
If I was a guitar I would have to be a polygamist.

Wow, those guitars look beautiful! If I wasn't trying to sell my own Agile right now, I might be tempted by the black flame one, or the one with the minis (8.5 lbs!). Good luck with the sale, Buddy!

Thank you, Moss! I wish I didn't have to list any of them, but this roof just really jacked me up. It really kind of forced my hand.
You have a beauty on your hands there, too... I wanted to buy yours myself! And so does Slowhand... I wanted that purple one so bad!
There are some really beautiful guitars floating around and available on this forum right now. Like pretty girls mingling around, waiting for someone to ask them to dance....
**Edit to add.. and there's the white Wolf one too! I love that one too! I want them all!
I would have to be a polygamist if I was a guitar.
