Sale feeler: LP-2500 in blue quilt

I've had this for about 5 years, and it's just not getting the playing time it deserves and there is no point to it sitting here not getting played, so I thought I'd put it on the market. It's (I believe) an LP-2500 from about 2003. It's in excellent condition - I would call it "like new" were it not for a few minuscule dings to the headstock.

It's got GFS Mean 90s in it, but I have the original pickups and I'd be happy to throw them into the deal as well. The color is really hard to photograph accurately and makes me wish I had one of those "color checker" cards, but it's a blue quilt burst with a hint of green to it. The top picture, with the guitar leaning against the amp, is probably the most accurate; the photo of the switch looks a little too blue, and the photo of the bridge looks a little too green.

I really have no idea what the "going rate" for these is, but if somebody's interested, feel free to make an offer!

That finish is stunning. Any idea what the neck profile is? I’ve played a few from that era... some were slimmer necks, some were thicker

If the only criteria for selling a guitar is not getting played, I'd have at least 200 for sale. Gorgeous guitar though. I 've got a lefty of one of those in CSBF, build quality is as good as any other Agile from then to the present...

That is pretty cool - old headstock and old horn, don't see many of those.

I don't think I'm a very good judge of neck profiles, to be honest... I would have called it about average; it's a bit flatter on the back than some, so I guess I would call it a D profile, or a modern C? Then again the only difference between a D and a U profile is the depth, as far as I can tell, but I don't know where one turns into another... The depth of the neck at the 1st fret is about 0.86 and at the 12th fret it's about 0.96, although I realize that doesn't tell you anything about the profile per se.

If I had 200 guitars, I would be homeless. Not because of the money or because my wife would have thrown me out, but because my apartment would literally be full of guitars.

Perhaps that is why tobijohn's license plate on his Vette says "MR WRONG"??? :)

Actually, that was the consensus opinion of my former girlfriends/wife...

Wow. Like a blue leopard look. I have a 2500. It's basically an agile studio model but prettier. I'd stand it up against most gibson studios. I say most because lots of gibby studios aren't nearly this good. :)

About 9 lb, 8 oz, I think. Unfortunately I only have a bathroom scale handy, which is not super-precise to that kind of range, but I think "between 9 and 10 pounds" is pretty safe to say.
