Hi, I'm looking for a BB 1&2 set in nickel. If anyone has a set please let me know (I'm in Canada). Thanks :)

Don't have a pair for sale, but I figured the bump wouldn't hurt. Incidentally, BB 1&2 are my favorite pickups.

Yes they have a wild open nature due to the lack of wax potting I believe. I do like the 57/57+ combo I have as well, they just seem more smooth.

I believe you're correct about the lack of wax potting adding openness, and also musical microphonics. I also like how the mismatched coils add bite and detail.

57s are definitely more smooth. Not worse than BB, just different.

Good luck on your Burstbucker search.
