I have it for sale for $225. Assuming that someone will offer $150 and then I'll say...I'll take $180 and we'll be good...

I have an offer for $130.
Should I sell it.
The action is a little high and I dont play it. And I wouldn't have to ship it.

I'm liking this thread :D

Well, you say you don't play it, you say that you're in fact a drummer, you say that you barely play guitar, and it's my guess that it doesn't hold any sentimental value to you.

I'd say sell it.

I guess you can do better with $130 in your pocket than letting it collecting dust forever.

If you don´t have a musically inclined nephew or niece interested in playing bass that you could give it to them, then I'd say sell.

Of course, if you could get a little more it'll be better, but if you're OK with $130, then go.

And after all this, please, let us know what you did :D 8-)

$130 seems to me like a very low ball offer given your asking price of $225.

I'd throw $180 back at them with the expectation that you'll probably both settle for around $160 after their inevitable counter offer.

This make sense - and also points to the "sell" option -.

If you bought it new, use it to justify your price. If not, use the argument of "barely used" to do the same. Maybe that person who said $130 is expecting you to counter offer $20-30 up his price and settle up there.

I think the appropriate group answer is that you should buy one more bass.

I'm kinda in the same boat with a SX STL60(?) I bought from someone on the old AGF forum yrs ago. It's still brand new, straight ferrules, full thickness. Honestly. I have teles aplenty and my teacher wants a tele so I'm gonna trade it for more lessons. It's going to a good home.

Not a bad deal. The Ursa 2 6 has lost its niche now that Squier has its Jazz bass VI. But I still consider it one of SX's best values!

(and yes, for those that are counting, I have 2 more not in that pic! )

Gearlist: A few LP's, a Strat, a Tele and a few acoustics.

I have a 3/4 scale SX bass that I bought back when the world was ending and Rondo was never going to have any products again. Ok wait that happens like 5 times a year....

I think I paid $125 for it and it's kind of fun to goof around with, but I don't play bass nor do I have a bass amp. But my theory is that selling anything or dealing with CL/FB Marketplace morons for less than ( or around )$100 bucks just isn't worth it. If I wanted it out of the way i'd probably just donate it to the school band or someone's kid that could use it.

Looks nice. I've been playing the bass mostly now and enjoying my very light glarry. It even looks nice. But I love the black block maple and ash body look. But I'm worried I won't bother playing it if it's too heavy. If this was the nat ash p-j configuration I'd have to bite.
With being so full up I'm getting very picky on specs.
What the weight on yours?

I've picked up a couple Glarry basses too and this is definitely a niche they're better at cause the few guitars I got from them needed a lot of work. I will definitely swap out electronics and pickups though.
I still have my SX Ash p-j . It's definitely a boat anchor compared to the Glarrys
