I scored a 2021 Fender Player Jazz Bass from a Pittsburgh Guitar Center. It arrived Thursday and is perfectly set up and looks like it is 3 days old, not 3 years old. Perfect in every way. It has roundwounds on it and I always immediately replace them with flats but I'm going to leave these on for a while. It has a 75th Anniversary stamp on the back of the neck so that's cool, too.

Love me some J bass. That's a beauty. I'm partial to maple necks, so right up my alley. HNOBD!!

I put a black pickguard on it today. I like this better, I think it makes the neck stand out more.

HNBD!

A Jazz bass is in my top 3 of basses. I own a Squire Affinity that I refinished in Fiesta Red and hand build some vintage correct pickups for. Wonderful organic tones.

I have a set of Rotosound flat wounds, which are perfect for a Jazz bass. Smooth, nice top end and plenty of sustain.
