Dunno how much of a "hot deal" it is but I just got spammed by T.V. Jones advertising their "lowest prices ever"
on "seconds" as in imperfect pickups with dents, scratches, etc. but fully functional.

I saw that too. They are very fond of their product, even the blems are priced above Gretsch pickups. Must be the hand winding, each pickup is like a child and if you do sell it, you don't want to cheapen out

Their prices are high because guitarists are happy to keep buying them at that price. They do sound great, and in the total cost of gear, their not that bad so...

That sale has been going on a while now.
