Played my HX Stomp XL through an Alto TX308 yesterday, and....results were excellent.
I was jamming with friends. The Altos are our PA setup -- we use modelers into them with acoustic drums. The host had taken one of his speakers with him, so I ran the Stomp into the mixer, and then to the single speaker, and worked like a charm. Our drummer even said it sounded great.
These speakers are lower wattage than the TS line (aka, Headrush FRFR/Alesis drum speaker), but still have enough (and realistically, for home use, would anyone need 2000 watts?). They are also substantially cheaper. No problem keeping up with our drummer, and it handled the bass going through at the same time just fine.
If I played more often without headphones, I would buy a pair of these or the 10s they make. They sound (or make the Stomp sound) that good.

I have used Alto speakers now for about 5 years. I sold off all my EV speakers when I retired from the band. My tops back then were passive. I wanted to update to powered tops and all I needed was something affordable for acoustic shows. I got two 10" and two 8" and absolutely love them. Then when I started playing with a band again I would used the 10" for my stage monitor but on occasion I would need something a little bigger so I got a 12" 2000W Alto and it does the trick. Eventually my OCD would not allow me to own just one so I got another one. So I have two of each size and they are amazing speakers for the coin. I recommend anyone in need of a powered speaker check them out. Are they the quality of EV or QSC, maybe not but they are quite good. Mine are the TS series.
I've gone to the Bose system for the acoustic show now but I still use the Altos for monitors when placement of the Bose is such that I cannot hear it. Lately though I used IEM for that so soon I may have a few Alto speakers for sale.
