Cool gadget. But not sure at that price. Do you find it atractive?

If it works well and sounds like a regular mustang does through headphones, I'd definitely be interested in the concept. For me it would probably depend on how good the base presets sound and whether or not you can tweak them like you can with the full size amp.

If they were able to cram the technology of say a mustang 1/2 into this I think it's a winner.

I have a little Vox box plug-in. I only use it once in awhile and it serves its purpose.

$100 for something with the capabilities mentioned in the link definitely has a market but I'd pass because I have too many gadgets with aux and headphone inputs.

I think this is one of the most important things to consider, along with the good sound through headphones.

I like small, versatile things. It has the advantage of portability, but for roughly the same price, you can get a full size Mustang I amp, fully customizable.

But if they are launching it, I guess they have studied the market.

I'm not a marketing guy, but I believe that this is one of those things that is targeted to parents more than players. I've been using headphones a lot and I can see the appeal. My neighbor has 2 teenagers and I bet she would be more interested in this than the kids.

You might be right about to some extent, Brian. In general, I think this are things targeted to young adults, and adults in general, who might want a good package fitted into a small, portable thing.

I know I would be happy to have one of those things - not necessarily this Mustang M:)icro - for playing sitting on the coach on some nights...

I have the vox unit. ITs useful. Just not as useful as you'd hope. With rechargeable battery and more effects than mine maybe a bit more useful but at $100 probably loox at the decent function of the vox at about $30? Better than both (I suspect) is my pandora px4. Tons of decent effects and very editable. Maybe the fender can edit via phone app. That would be nice.

I have not tried it so I am pretty ignorant regarding how good it will sound but...I hated the Mustang Amp I had and most folks loved theirs. So my guess is if you liked the Mustang amps this should be a no-brainer.
