Katana mkii 100 1x12

Ordered yesterday and should arrive tomorrow. I mostly have questions about how you access your tone studio. Will a tablet work or should I get a labtop? What specifically should I look for in a tablet? Does it need usb, how good of resolution, does tone studio run on all operating systems (ios,windows, android,google,etc), how much memory, ram etc.

I used to have a 50 watt first generation and have no idea why I got rid of it. I used to drag it in by the desk top but this time I'm going to bring the source to it. Thanks for your input in advance.

As far as I know the full Tone Studio app is only available for Windows or Mac desktop OS. Some of the other Boss devices have bluetooth/mobile compatibility but I don't think the Katana's do. Granted I have a V1/1st gen Katana 50, but on their current downloads page it shows Windows/Mac only.

So if I had a tablet with windows 10 that would work as long as it has a usb port correct?

As long as it is running a full version of windows desktop OS I would think you are OK. You will find out soon enough!
