I scratch my head why did they issue this Fender tweed, versus the most recorded amp in history: the Tweed Deluxe?

It seems they are trying to market to the working/gigging musicians rather than home enthusiasts or even studio setups. The Super Reverb, the Twin and now the Bassman are all amps that fit better on stage live than anywhere else.

The Blonde Deluxe Tonemaster is one of the best, according to reviews. However, huge difference in sound and feel than a 1955 to 1959 Tweed Deluxe. I was wondering why Fender chose the big Bassman, when the Tweed Deluxe is arguably on most of the hit records from the 1950's to the 1990's.
