I've been on the hunt for a 412 cab for a little while now, and haven't had a lot of luck...until last weekend. Had to make a drive up to Portland, but it was worth it for $120. The cab has 2 of the original 4 stock Peavey speakers, which are supposed to sound like very well broken in Greenbacks, from what I've read. I have a pair of Celestion G12T-75s that should be arriving tomorrow to fill in the other two slots. Since I'm alone now (that's a whole story in and of itself), I have some additional room. I plan on filling that with goodies like this. Cat for scale.

There are 2 Peavey Sheffield 5150 speakers, and my Celestion G12T-75s came yesterday. I'm mounting those today, but I need to run to the hardware store for one more mounting screw/bolt.
Weird that the photos don't show, but I did have a hard time figuring out the new system. Maybe I didn't actually figure it out at all.
For amps, I have a Peavey 6505MH that I may end up selling, but I also have a Bugera 333XLi that is a monster amp. And I have a bunch of mico/mini heads to play around with, as well. Thinking about picking up a 5150 LBX to replace the 6505MH. SlaveUnit turned me on to those, and he seems to like his.

Waiting to actually see the cat, and the cab . . . in that order.

Congrats on the new Cab and speakers. There is a size limit on photos. I don't recall what it is. Posting from Flickr has become aggravating but that is due to me doing it so rarely and them changing things wrt how it works there now.
Anyway, hope you are well and look forward to seeing the cab and speakers if that works out.

Maybe the photos are showing now? They look very low res to me, and for some reason the cat photo is turned 90 degrees.
I tried.
I need to get a new mounting bolt, as I am one short for the remaining speakers. I also need some wood glue, since the baffle isn't staying put.

A friend of mine has been pushing me to wire it for 4Ω, but I only have one head that will accept a 4Ω load. So, 16Ω it is!
