Just picked this beauty up for something to bring along camping and to play on lunch break (when I have one)
Heck of a deal for a bit less than $100 shipped. Only issue is supposedly the pre-amp doesn't work and I don't really plan to use it plugged in anyway so I save over $200 off the regular price.

Congrats! I have played several Ibanez acoustics lately at the GC, Sam Ash, etc. They make some nice stuff. I love the Martin Streetmaster models too.

I love the feel of the open pore ibanez'. That dread 54 model is everywhere nd a great price but I found kinda hit and miss quality. The good ones are tempting but I keep looking for a deal on the small body cutaway. So far I think ve only seen 1 in person and costs a big hunk more. The non cut is more reasonable and available but I really liked that opn vibe on these.

I don't know that I'd be willing to learn how to play left-handed in order to save $200, so, kudos.
Well, figured out as soon as I got it out of the box and could hear the cable flapping around in the body.
Otherwise the guitar is flawless...plays great for a cheap solid top, it isn't a Martin or Taylor, but it will work great for the purpose in mind.
I happen to have a nice endoscope with a hook for working on my truck that allowed me to reach and pull the cable out just enough to reconnect. Paid for itself 10x just on this job...
Looks like they put in a loop in the cable that shouldn't have and probably couldn't get it to connect at the factory.
