As the title suggests, this isn't that new to me, but is my latest new guitar. I got it back in June as an anniversary gift and have really enjoyed it. It's a '21 Les Paul Standard 50s in Iced Tea burst. This is my first Gibson with the 50s neck and I believe I prefer it to the thinner 60s style necks. The pickups are 57 Classics and really work well for almost everything. It has the traditional wiring and I haven't done anything to it and don't plan to. I haven't seen any quality issues with it and it just seems like an overall nice guitar. This is my first new guitar in a couple of years and may be my last since I already have more than I'll ever want or need. I haven't taken any pics of it, but here are the pics Sweetwater sent me after we ordered it.

Wow, what a beauty! Congrats! There is nothing like a Gibson Les Paul. I am more of a 60's neck guy myself but if I could get it just the way I like it, it would be right in between. They do vary slightly and when they are just a little bit beefier than a 60's it is so comfy to me. 57 Classics do sound good and should serve you well.

Congratulations! Beautiful guitar - I had the opportunity to play one of these recently at a local shop and I really liked it. I loved the neck as well.

I'm just an at-home player, so I've been primarily playing through a Kemper>mixer>monitors. I've also been playing through a Mesa Subway Rocket Reverb since I put my pedal board back together. I need to play more often, but just too many other things to do lately.

Very nice. I owned a Standard back in the day , but it had a plain maple top. Sounded great through a Marshall stack and I had hair as well then. Bet it sounds great.

Walked up to the Marshall Garage in Nashville on New Year’s Day. But alas, it was closed and I left the next day, yesterday. Maybe next time.

Sweet, HNGD!
I dig the chunkier necks as well.
