I got the CV 60's P Bass today and I must say I like it, The bass truly does have that Fender P Bass tone. The set-up was decent out of the box but I will need to adjust the string height at the saddle every string has a little difference in their height I did find that a little strange. I don't have a bass amp so I ran it through everything I have Katana 50, Monoprice 15 watt tube amp. Shure 57 hanging on the Monoprice into my Mackie Mix12FX board into Presonus 3.5 powered speakers and well you get picture. The color is not quite as yellow in the 1st picture and it's less white than the second, kind of an antique white.
Also the tele in the second picture is the one I just rebuilt and I really love it but I was having trouble with intonation and the E and D strings slots are too deep so I ordered a few bone blanks I like Tusq but it just cost too much plus bone is traditional. By the way the Squire has a bone nut.
So here are a couple of pictures.

That looks like a heck of a player.
The tort and white combo has grown on me since I got my 60s JM.

I'm not much of a bass player but i like to lay down tracks and the only thing I don;t play are the drum loops even put down keyboard tracks they aren't very good but they are fun. The best part $199 w/free shipping.

The bassist in my band has the Squier CV Jazz, and he's in love with it, so I'm not surprised the CV Precision is good as well. Squier's better offerings these days are really nice.

Sweet!
I think Santa is bringing me a Squier P Bass for xmas this year. That will go nicely with my Squier Jazz Bass, which is a great instrument.

ProAudioStar had a big sale on Squire it's over now I think I also bought a Squire CV Strat for $249 both were fantastic deals basically 1/2 price.
