Incoming New Strap Day!!



I have not made any gear or hobby or for me cos' I want it purchases since mid 2023, with the inflation and stagnant wages, etc.

Almost all of my basic store bought straps are at the longest setting and some are just a little too short.

This is my 4th or 5th Well-Hung strap. I can't say enough good things about them and the Strap Santa, Brad who makes them.



Treat yourself to a great strap and you will never want to go back.

This one I plan to move between guitars that don't get played all the time, or maybe one of my other Well-Hung straps will share that duty, not sure.

I hate moving straps around, but will make due with what I have.

I got sick and tired of straps showing up 2" to short even on the last adjustment loop.
Once finished, I measure mine hole-to-hole, NOT end-to-end which provides about another 1.5"
the others don't, and I still build in an extra 4-8 inches typically. Of course then I get the odd
picker asking if I can make 'em one of mine, only shorter - LOL can't win!

This was my try at hand-painting rattler on a high quality embossed scale pattern white vinyl.
There's so much python pattern out there for vinyl or leather, and rattler-looking materials
just don't seem to be sexy enough for manus to make. I think it's super badass.

I used a home-made block print, various brushes, and custom dye mixes.




I've been doing more custom dye things, if asked, and I think it can be done.
For example, this printed hide is fun,


But the same leather can be made even cooler with some dye work and finishing.
