Ok, my first attempt at posting this (a lengthy, poetic, Pulitzer-worthy effort) was lost to a glitch.

So here’s a simple summary. I’ve been eyeing Teles for a while and I finally pulled the trigger on an American Professional II in Butterscotch Blonde.

Got a great deal at GC. Traded in an unloved guitar, which got me 15% off. Put it on my GC card to get another 10% in rewards $. (Both of those % are up 5% due to a promo going on.)

Anyway, I LOVE this Tele! It feels great in my hands, the pine body is a perfect weight, and the tones it produces are pure Rock/Blues/Country.

I just watched a Darryl Braun video last night in which he looked at a Mexican Baja Tele vs a Japanese Tele vs an American Tele...

That looks really nice, HNGD. Fender's got a great combo of vintage/modern going with that model.

Tele family photo. I’ve had an Am Pro Deluxe for several years; it has Pearly Gates pups in lieu of the stock Shawbuckers. The Blonde needs zero mods…it’s perfect!

Nice!
That color scheme with the maple board is my favorite as well.
Great deal wrangling there as well.
