So I’ve been playing guitar (poorly) for about 28 years, in that time I’ve only been in one really bad cover band (we played at various old folks homes, to audiences that weren’t allowed to leave). This is the first actual band I’ve started, the first tune I’ve been involved in the writing process, and the first time actually getting paid to play. To tie it back to here, I got the pickups in the guitar I’m playing from tobijohn. The song is called Down.

You should hit up the rest home with that! I’m sure you’d have them up and moving in no time!

Great energy! Love your band name. The singer wearing a facemask is a great look. Please don't take this offensively, as it is not meant that way, but are you the guy who looks like Rick from Pawn Stars?

They’re just the Epiphone Classic Plus set, I got the guitar for $150, but it only had a neck pickup, I liked how the classic plus set sounded in two other guitars, asked about em here, and he gave me a great deal. For completion sake the amp is a JCM 2000 DSL 50 watt, through a Peavey 412MS.

That was sooo cool. We still need to write at some point. Its on my bucket list. It did sort of look like pawn stars and duck dynasty got together to make a band How many songs do you have or cover? How long was your gig? I'm guessing that singer has some decent stage experience. He seemed to really own it as a front man. Well Done!

We’ve got 9 complete, and should have 3 more finished after practice today! We played just over 30 minutes, no covers right now, my singer and drummer are against them. Fortunately if I can play a decent riff, my singer can come up with words on the spot, he also had a couple songs from previous projects that went south. My drummer is the lead guitarist in a real band called The Faction, so he’s donated a couple songs that they passed on. The bass player and other guitar player I’ve been jamming with since high school.

WHAT?! No Purple Guitar?? Or is it just a trick of the lighting. Like the song and congrats on the whole new band/new songs deal too.

That’s sweet that shows are going on! I know up here in the people’s republic of New England, everything is pretty much on hold awaiting a vaccine....

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s gonna last, numbers are going up like crazy, for now hospitalizations and deaths are not, but if they do I’m sure we’re getting shut down again!

That was great! Definitely a very early 80's LA punk vibe. Almost gave me flashbacks, and as others have said--solid garage rock.
Kind of reminds me of these guys, who I saw several times in college. Very cool!
Just a quick thread bump and update, we managed to record an album, drums were done in a studio, everything else in my drummers den! Give it a listen if you would, subscribe to the channel if you like it!

So this is a first ever band for you? I've been doing this for years and have nothing like this to show. Frankly I'm pissed. Pissed at me and you and all my half assed band members.
Yes its pretty good
verry jelly

The majority of the credit goes to my drummer, we all contributed on writing but he really knew what he was doing production wise. The rest of the band and I were somewhat amazed at how well it came out quality wise. Now hopefully we can play another show eventually.
