Get To L.A.

I wrote and recorded this song several years ago. It's lyrics are from the perspective of my teenage self back in the 80s. Amanda (vocalist of my current studio project called Velvet Vamps) asked if she could have a go at it. We tweaked the lyrics just slightly so they made sense from the perspective of her singing them.

It is an unashamedly 80s sounding tune. Heck, I even managed to name drop Van Halen in the lyrics.

Amanda made the graphic. Personally, I would have went with a more hair metal vibe, but I do appreciate how colorful, fun, and 80s it looks . . . even though for me it brings to mind the aesthetic of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air more so than say, for instance, L.A. Guns (choose your own favorite band of the era).
