Nice playing and singing.
Lil Miss Quickdraw could make a bullseye blink.

Thanks for listening and for the feedback guys.

Something I've used for the first time when recording this track is the Warm Audio WA-2A Tube Optical Compressor, sourced from Sweetwater. It was in the signal path to varying degrees for bass, vocals, and guitar. Very simple to use, and imparts a very noticeable fullness, clarity, and musical overtone to anything run through it. Honestly, after using this hardware compressor in front of my DAW it's hard to imagine how I ever lived without one. Everything just sounds so much better.

I could very easily drink a beer to this song while watching a female dancing around a pole.
(Just trying to create a good mental picture.)

Yes, it definitely (and might I add, unashamedly), has that vibe. Early in the history of rock and roll, fire and brimstone preachers and other cultural gatekeepers railed against the dangerous jungle rhythms, dissonant tonality, and passionate expressions of lust inherent in the genre, warning that these would incite people to undulate their bodies, and entertain perverse thoughts, ultimately leading to fornication and damnation. In this original spirit of rock and roll I have always wanted to write a great song that would inspire people to hump. If you hear that in "Gunslinger" then I have succeeded. :D

I re-tracked a few parts and put my own vocals on this version. My song, my prerogative. :D
