Not sure I like where this one went.
I have a tendency to letting songs write themselves, I start in one place then kinda let them run where ever the next section wants to go.

This one started out like a zombie video game intro - something dark and eerie, but it ended up happy. Go figure.

That does sound like it could be part of the soundtrack for a zombie type game, or even Doom. And the transition from heavy and menacing to the more upbeat and positive would is really cool, and feels really natural...
