Mr.@toomanycats's hair metal post inspired me to dust off my Ibanez RG570 (which was still sorta in tune after so many years)and laid down a quick glam rock/hair metal tune. I went more with a Whitesnake meets Firehouse vibe.
The solos are a mix of my favorite guitarists from that decade. You'll hear some vai, eddie, Michael Angelo, Reb Beach and some CC Deville too. It was a hoot to put together, granted it was a quick fun recording so its not up to snuff with my usual production.
Anywho, to the madcat himself, thanks for the inspiration!

I've always heard a lot of Satch and Vai in your playing, but I do hear the Reb Beach in particular coming out in this one.
I'm still not totally convinced that @Narsh isn't really a famous 80s guitar shredder whose been posting on AGF under an assumed identity all these years.

I do sometimes wonder the same. I'm somewhat curious about what keeps you coming back here to AGF to post - it's a very small community that i've been part of for quite a long time. You obviously spend a great deal of time and effort recording and a lot of times you only get a few comments about your work. And many of them are pretty simple ones from people like me who enjoy it but don't really know how to respond with any authority on the subject.
Having said that, thanks for continuing to do so - I really like this one as it harkens me back to my glory days of music. This track could have been playing on a mix tape at a Kegger party back in my younger days and it would have fit right in
