Messing with Neural DSP's Archetype Gojira Plugin

Ok this is sick, with a little work it could sound just as good as a Kemper or an AxeFX. There is absolutely no reason why anyone needs to buy a 3k Effects Processor anymore. This is insane. I'm torn between this one and Rabea's Archetype.

All these tones are right out of the box with my usual post processing so feel free to compare it to my usual tunes. Definitely not apples to apples but goodness, if you are looking at spending less than $200, look no further.

Damn, that is insane. I mean, yeah, if I listen really closely, I hear a bit more compression, maybe? But we're talking about something that is 10% of the price of the Kemper or AxeFx units, roughly, so who cares? And as you said, I bet if you spent a couple weeks tweaking it, I'm sure you could dial it in, same as you always do.

So question: How are you connecting the guitar to your computer? I assume you have some sort of DI device? And then you're just taking that signal into your normal software, and applying the guitar plugin to get the sound?

I must be completely imagining this but it seems to be not as rich or 3 dimensional sounding. And that's on a cel speaker. It seems impossible as my ears don't seem particularly sensitive or discerning.
Still 50 times the tone and 100x the talent of me. Still I was expecting to not notice anything different.

Thanks… This is right out of the box mind you. I applied my mastering template which made things sound off a bit but no patch tweaking was done. We’ve come a long way.
