Howdy all!

I am really pleased with the sounds I am getting out of my gear of late. I made two solid acquisitions last year. I took a chance on a Blackstar Artist 15 without plugging into one. No “regerts”. I snagged a 1991 MIJ 1962RI as well. Both were 30y birthday presents to myself (born in ‘91).

Those two are playing with a Freyette SAS I purchased in 2011, shelved, then rediscovered last week. Man it works well with this amp (to my ears). Next in line is a Walrus Monument for some movement. Followed by a Dawner Prince Boonar for echorec wizardry.

This clip was recorded with an iPhone, yet still captures the sound in the room well enough. Sounds pretty solid with headphones. I’d like to get some recording stuff again at some point. Lost my original stuff in a fire. Happy with the year’s progression!

Thanks brother!
I am really glad I plugged that Freyette SAS in. It has given me some super dynamics with enough smooth grit!

The room sound is so much more but the phone does a pretty decent job at catching it! Sounds good, sounds good loud…
