Man its been a while.
Definitely a well made guitar for a darn good price. This is my 3rd 8 string. I had an LTD H308 with EMG pickups and an Agile Septor Elite I got in a trade for my old Carvin 7 string. I still think that 31"scale Agile Septor Elite was a better guitar but it was really too darn big and really difficult to play. This one is night and day. While it will require some tone tweaking and such, its easier to play and gives me a better start than I originally had. Its much better than the LTD also. The LTD was 25 inch scale and felt too flubby.

This tune was a major PITA! Serum kept crashing and killing the project and I had to rebuild it like 5 times. It started out with my Kiesel 7 string and ended with the 8 string. All leads were done on the Kiesel though. My fingers like to fly around that neck a little more than this one.

Let me know what you guys think...

Sounds great. I've said before that I don't generally like to tell people they "sound like so and so." And I know everyone tells you how good you play, you do. You have really good timing. If I could form chords and make good transitions to those chords, I still think my timing wouldn't be what you have.
When are you doing a concept album or rock opera? I want to go listen to Queenryche-Empire now.

Thanks man very kind of you to say.
Empire is such an awesome album. Not sure if you’ve seen it but checkout Operation Livecrime, tons of inspiration in their performance.

@ID10t I know what you mean with the timing stuff. It seems to be my big problem as well...

As for the tune, its an interesting combo of your styles. The breakup you were getting in your solo tone, especially in the first half of the song is fantastic! Was that the Kemper, or the AxeFX? Or both, I suppose?

Most of the solo tones are all Kemper. The only one that isn't is the final solo which is axefx.
