#17 Broken Hourglass - Another tune with my son

Went full on Dream Theater on this one... Tons of changes, finger twists and I even programmed midi to match the guitar. What a major pain in the @$$ that was. Too many notes! (just kidding, you can't ever have too many).

Yes!!! That's what I was after!!!!
I actually reposted it right now. Didn't like a few little things here and there - specially the keyboard lead tone. Ran it through Saturn/Fab-Filter to smooth it out a bit.
Also added some sound fx.

Yea! That one is relentless, and does remind me of DT. In fact, you even gave it a DT sounding title

There is no denying their influence on me. I remember the first time I heard Pull Me Under and JP's liquid fast runs.

Definitely not a bad influence to have, I've also loved that band since Images and Words. And your super fast runs give Petrucci a run for his money...
