A couple from the old forum.
This one goes back to early days on the old forum.
This is another older one, but what impressed me the most, is the number of
replies I received. I was humbled, and it built my confidence to post. I've
always been very insecure about my music, and you guys changed that. Sincere thanks.
Great songs, I remember them. Will you come up with some more?
Wish I had your ease at playing and singing and looking at the camera!
Well, I might be more shy or nervous if I thought I was a really good singer/player, but I know I’m not, so I really have nothing to fear. Plus, I’m old and spend considerable time embarrassing my kids in public, so I don’t really care anymore!

I'm pretty sure a friend of mine heard that "somewhere north of the crossroads" in a an adult film before. Thats what he told me anyway, ii don't watch those. Something like "Gulp Fiction" or something like that, he mentioned

This was a test run but I'll post the effort gaffes and all (the chorus should be "Goodbye, I'm going home" not "coming home"). Kinda makes a big difference in the song's meaning.
The light was low and my Go-pro sensors struggle mightily indoors. Zoom-ins only magnify the grain. As noted, this was a quick 'n dirty take to see if I could pull the trick off.
I'm just putting a toe in Reaper's ocean of editing tools, but I definitely like the pitch correction feature.
** Removed because I can do it better ** I'll repost soon.

tlarson58 nice job! I recently tracked and filmed A live performance and put it all together in Reaper, and have already decided to try a multi-shot version next... thanks for showing me it can be done!
I found Reaper’s video capabilities enough for my little projects and very easy to use for syncing video and audio.

Milkman I use a beginner's video editing program called movavi and import the "polished" reaper audio after I've done what I can to it. The video editor can do everything I need to except for manual cropping.I
This is great - love the tune and the storyboard. The stealth tele dude in the weeds reminds me of the Lump video from Presidents of the United states for some reason. Dog is chillin as well.
Powerful words and very relevant I think. Definitely feel like we've been on that spinning wheel for a while now.
Very nice playing and singing, thanks so much for sharing your talents!

I did this cover as part of a challenge on another forum. The challenge was to play only one guitar for a week. I picked my Epiphone Les Paul Junior P90. It hasn't been getting much love. I set it up for slide about a year ago. I'm terrible at slide so it doesn't get a lot of play. I put it back to standard tuning and ignored my other guitars for the week. This song has four tracks with the Epi Jr., two rhythm, one lead, one bass. NO other guitars were used. I was surprised how versatile and how good sounding and playing this $150 guitar was, My apology goes out to Tom Petty for butchering his song,

Man, I gotta get a guitar with P90’s.
@Kerry Brown , how did you record the guitars? What did the signal chain look like?
