Here's something I recorded last night. I downloaded a youtube rhythm track and added guitar and electric piano.
I'm playing an old Agile AS820 with Gibson 57's through an Atomic Amplifire with a compressor, delay, wah, and plate reverb.
The AS820's are a joy to play. I wish Kurt still has them.

Quirky and different! I was playing around in my little "studio" last night and was just disgusted with myself. Everything I do ends up sounding the same.

this is fresh and engaging to my ears

I'm happy to hear that because there are plenty of days that it is exactly the way I feel. Sometimes you sit there for hours and not one decent idea comes out of your head. It's nice to know writer's block hits all of us alike, except Narsh. He can pump out perfection on a moment's notice.

I don't have that problem, I'm too busy figuring out how many different combinations of open C, D and G chords I can come up with. If I start to get a little bored, I throw in an Em to spice things up a bit...
