This one is a real journey. I absolutely love listening to listening to this as much as I did playing it.

Lots of interesting time changes on this one.

Hope you guys enjoy the tune, its a hell of a ride.

Damn, that's really heavy, yet very progressive as well. Changes all over the place. Was all the guitars with the 8 string? Sounds like you've really taken a liking to it!

Also, question on your composition style for soloing: do you typically plot the solos out, or are you more of a on-the-fly style player?

Thanks man!
The tune was all 8 except for the solos which I used my JP100D.

For solos, I'm definitely an on the fly type. I do plot out certain melodies here and there but for the most part they are 100% improvised.

That's awesome, as they really sound like you plotted them out, especially how well they mesh with the song. Its an underrated talent among lead guitarists of being able to solo within the song and melody so that it sounds seamless, and fits perfectly, and you do that as well as anyone. I can't ever remember a solo of yours where I thought it stuck out, or didn't fit, and there's tons of commercial music where I cringe when the solo kicks in, as its a mess of notes that don't fit.

Appreciate it, but I feel like I am totally guilty of doing just that. I try not to, but the inner shredder takes over some times.
