Terry, our banjo-and-sometimes-bass-playing member is retiring from the spa business (which means that we're looking for a new space).
He was kind enough to keep a corner open for our stuff as long as we let him and his banjo stay in the band (ha). I recorded our last practice and this one stuck out because it's a good snapshot of our camaraderie. We take an old hit, throw in a few I and V bass notes and then see what we can do with it in a half hour.
Filmed with two Go-Pros and recorded through a new Tascam digital console. 'Kinda lost the warehouse vibe when I mixed it down. Extra Mustard will not sell platinum albums anytime soon but we're best friends.
FWIW, Terry is a gentle soul who's been playing for five years and laughs along with our ceaseless banjo jokes. We're unmerciful and will pull stunts on him like the one at 3:40 all of the time.
I have few more vids almost done. Bonus points for anyone who can guess what the "314 ft" on my t-shirt refers to.

The main question I find myself asking is what kind of stomp boxes a banjo player has on his pedal board? It's probably safe to say not a wah or fuzz.

Why do some people take an instant aversion to banjo players? It saves time in the long run.

Tuner and a boost (we keep him pretty low in the mix 'cause the banjo cuts through so hard). Sometimes I lend him a delay for this song.
