Just thought I'd touch base about me being out for a week. Picked up covid a mild case on top of pneumonia. Good news is no ventilator and I am back in rehab on Monday if all goes well. Typing this on my phone instead of th laptop which is why I laid low. Hoping all y'all are doing good and will be back more when I get to the laptop .

Good mojo to you, brother.
Not to get political, but please take the medicine that is proven to work for this. Also, question whether you have CV19 or just any coronavirus. The common cold is a coronavirus, so all of the tests count those too (says right on the CDC website, folks)
The pneumonia is by far the scarier part, but any doctor that isn't terrible should have you back up in nearly no time flat.

FWIW, There has been misinformation about the testing giving false positives regarding covid19 or SARS-cov2 and other corona viruses. Yes it’s On the CDC website but it is regarding the testing for antibodies, not the virus itself. Hospitals test for the virus and the long test is very accurate while the fast test is only about 66% accurate. They wouldn’t test for antibodies in this case,
So unfortunately it’s not going to be confused with the common cold (which would be much better news). This explains the twitter/Facebook disinformation campaign on it.

Rest up jack. Sorry you have been feeling sick but I hope you recover well!

LOL @ trusting news and tech companies owned by the same people.
Were not one, but thirty three (33) Florida labs busted for reporting false results? Example, reporting 98% positive instead of 9.8%? Thirty three labs is a little more than an anomoly, isn't it?
The reality is CV19 is only even remotely dangerous to you if you're over 45 years old. Then, only if you don't get exercise, fresh air and sunlight. Then, only if you don't take the proper medicine we've been using for malaria for ages and ages. Even our previous president took it.
Death rate is 0.26%, cut in half with hcq treatment. Basically you have a 99.7%+ chance of survival. Or, CV19 is less dangerous than the normal flu or pneumonia.
My grandfather died from this fiasco. It ain't funny. But, I will say this. Let's all make sure we wear our masks through the first week of November.

COVID sucks. Sorry to hear that you were hit but I'm glad to hear that it hasn't been bad enough for a ventilator. Get well soon!

First I’m sorry to hear about your grandpa. This has been hard on a lot of famlies and it’s unfortunate you all had to go through that.
You can laugh all you want but did you read it? My true sources are the hospitals and scientists. My fiancée works in a pediatric ICU and I know very well how they rule out covid. There is no question that a positive sars-cov2 test is for covid19. not the common cold or some
Other corona virus. It can be very confusing to non-medical people, which is why I linked an article. I have no dreams of changing anyone’s mind, even yours. As to your other claims about rates and the flu; we’ve been down this rabbit hole too many times. You’re simply wrong. But keep on doing what your doing and maybe we will finally hit that 98% positive after all.

No politics dammit!!!! There are forums just for those arguments. I found one and do all my opinionating there. That's right I made up a word. Like it or not every discussion concerning the C19 is steeped in political bias. All the "facts" generated are generated with political bias. So please let's refrain from the discussion.
If you have it, mojo sent, if you don't please stay safe. If someone passed away from it, condolences to you and the family.
fatjack glad to see you are getting better.
Love you guys, mean it, continue with the regularly scheduled programming.

Dang, man. Hope you’re up and feeling better soon. Seemed like all of my in-laws got pneumonia last year. My FIL got it twice! But he didn’t layer it up with COVID-19. Take care of yourself and I’m really glad you didn’t wind up with a “ventilator” case.
Just found out last night that there’s a very high probability that my wife was exposed at work (nursing home). So we’re testing Monday. She already had to test twice a month, anyway because of where she works. Hooray.

All the facts generated are generated by
science. Which is fluid—especially in the case of an emerging crisis.
Saying CV is just as bad as the flu is idiotic if made by anyone owning a calculator. Idiotic and
dangerous.

I work in the health care industry. Hydroxychloroquine does not work. That is why it has largely been abandoned in Europe and the FDA revoked it's authorization for emergency use here. The results were just minimal. Too minimal to outweigh the many risk of using this potentially dangerous drug as a covid-19 cure. Now....as a lupus drug, it works fine. Not for this particular coronavirus though. I get tired of hearing people talk about it. It should be forgotten.
Take care of yourself Fatjack. Glad to hear that your doing better
