Deals that slipped away from you

Ive had a few that i just missed, was 1 person behind in line for. (Craigslist, marketplace ect).
This last one really pics my butt
I was looking to get an LP type in a lemonburst, cherryburst, ice tea variety then this came along. A fair price for sure, Hondo 748 mk2 in CB, with case and 10w amp for $175 cdn (130usd)
These are well made lawsuit copies that are known to be great playing instruments.
But ive had my share fare of great acquisitions....cant win em all i guess
Im sure most of us here had the same thing happen?

I've had a couple guitars sold to me via Guitar Center and Music Go Round that were canceled. It annoyed the shit out of me at the time.

I missed out on one of these a few years ago and still cry about it. Mint condition, with the original case with orange interior, for only $100 . . . Aaaaaahhhhh!

Well, I got hooked on Facebook Marketplace being stuck at home. I found a Dremel and thought it would be nice to have for little routing jobs if needed. I offered a price she accepted. It was a bit of a drive, so I asked if I could pay in advance via PayPal and pick it up soon as I have to arrange company for my daughter while I'm out to pick it up. She said, "never mind", because my character is questionable and not trustworthy.
Agh.

- lawsuit-era Ibanez Rocket Roll V for $449 Cdn.
- Desert Yellow Jem 777 for $800.
- Charvel Model 5 for $275.
- LTD GL200T (tiger stripe Lynch model for $499 new when the dollar was at par.[/list]
I was poor when grunge killed the shredders, and not aggressive enough when the dollar was at par.
But I have had a few wins too.

Mf had a double the diff $ on price matches a few christmas' ago. I found amazon had a 100 pack of picks mispriced at about $2. And a nice close out strap at about $5. Also my mustang floor was about $20 cheaper elsewhere. So double the difference on the mustang and a few straps and pick packs I had $90 to spend there. Nice deal and I didnt want to be greedy but if I had bought a few more straps (I needed) and another $100 in picks I could of had a new lp.
Then sold most of the picks at a profit of another $100 or so
Also bought a silver creek acoustic for $66. Wish I bought the other 3 models too
