Hired Gun

I’ve been watching a lot of music themed documentaries lately and came across Hired Gun on Amazon Prime Video that came out in 2017.
Several great players from varied genres. Jason Hook, Ray Parker Jr, Newsted, Kenny Aronoff, Rudy Sarzo, Liberty Devitto, Phil X and more.
If you have Prime and time to kill, you may want to check it out.

I liked it too. As a drummer, I always liked Liberty DeVito and didn’t like the way he was treated by Billy Joel after all the years they played together. The way he found out he wasn’t included in the latest tour was really a low class move.

Yea, it seemed like a d#@k move on BJ's part for sure!
I just saw that Liberty's new book, LIBERTY: Life, Billy and the Pursuit of Happiness, was supposed to be released this week. I am sure that would be a good read.
