Then I put "This forum is FRAUDULENT - go to www. aguitarforum dot NET" in my signature.

Then I made my avatar a white box with black letters saying "Go To www.aguitarforum.net"

Then I kept posting variations on that theme while they rushed behind me to auto-edit all of the variations.

The MOMO version of the forum seems to have blown up! A few of the sub boards still exist but many posts are missing including the last three days. What a cluster!

They stopped allowing image uploads and links on the old forum, and I had a piping hot meme for them, so I posted on MOMO under a sock-puppet account. They're not changing ".net" to ".com" over there!

Oh well, the more the merrier... I already made the thread. Actually, my thread is specifically about MOMO memes. The Meme War thread existed on the old forum for just general memes. I'm gonna use those memes MOMO memes, though!

There'll be a ton of my content someone someday will win a Pulitzer prize from. That'll be tough... I may never be famous.

I think I missed this post earlier... You mean my thread is gone? I still see it. I've left the thread and come back to it, and added more pics to it. It seems to still be there.

It just reminds them that there's nothing they can do to injure me, and they're making fools of themselves for even trying... It looks petty when the board only has a few more days to live. I'm sure it's very frustrating.

Hey, I just noticed that all the AGF threads on MOMO only have the opening post, with nothing else. Could it be they couldn't migrate all that content over?

I especially want Momonewbz to see my meme magic... Make 'em wary. But it may be a waste of time right now. What they'll probably do next is buy a bunch of targeted lists and send out an obscene amount of spam to "announce" their new forum, as well as a number of other IM methods to try and generate traffic. I'm sure they didn't think they'd have to promote the forum very hard, since they expected us all to shuffle on over there like a bunch of sheep, but now they're going to have to pull out some marketing and promotional guns... If they have the money for it. The place is a ghost-town right now, but it will be interesting to see how much traffic comes trickling in within the next few weeks.

Personally, I don't it see it capturing much interest. The site is ugly and ganky to navigate. There doesn't seem to be much of our content over there, and I'm wondering if they're having a problem with that. Content gets you indexed, new, fresh, original content gets you ranked higher. No content, stale content leaves you adrift and ignored by the search engines. The more time goes by, the more it's going to be painfully evident to whomever visits that forum that there hasn't been any activity on there for a long while and they'll split.
