My mom was digging though old pictures. Some very old. I think I'm a decendent of prussians.
Anyway ran into a few old ones playing guitar. Including an old lp. I remember it played well but I was real ignorant and dont remember if its bolt neck or the brand. Any chance someone can see something they can place.
About age 28 or so @91
Nice to find a pic from back then playing my guitar but even nicer is my old dog munchkin. And at my moms old house where we buried her.
Unknown csb Maybe age 15ish '79

this appears to be the oldest pic I have of me with a guitar. October 2006, 19 years old, in my dorm room at Miles Hall, Virginia Tech sophomore year with my Ibanez RG2EX2 - not my first guitar (second), but the first guitar I bought for myself. It saw a lot of action in my first two bands. I left it with the drummer of my second band before I moved out of Blacksburg.
first band pics. February 2007 in our drummer's garage in Roanoke.

This is probably the oldest picture of myself with guitars I was able to find.
I had gotten my first Agile, AL2800, maybe in 2006 then the same year I ordered the Ghost. It was a custom order from the second custom run ever by Rondo.
I sold the AL and to this day I still own the Ghost. This picture was taken in 2006 or 2007 so I must have been 23-24 years old.

Our FIRST pro recording studio session.
You know what is SO weird about this pic?
3 Guitar players with 3 Gibson Les Pauls (my modded Deluxe, a Standard and a Custom), all 3 Guitars have 3 pickups and all 3 Guitars are shades of Red.

First one I can find of me with an instrument:
This is about 4 years after I started playing though, and definitely like the 5th bass I'd owned at that point.

Don't have one including me....we didn't have cellphones back then. Here is one
of my full ring circa 1978. Extra points for identifying things....
The only thing I identify in that pic is a hernia.

Late 1950's or early '60's—can't quite remember, "… such a long, long, time ago …"
Anyway, what I think was a Hofner President, my first really good guitar. It had a wild pickup arrangement—two pups that could be positioned by sliding along a central metal plate—never seen another one like it.
I sent this picture to a friend in the UK about a year or so ago, and he reminded me that I had sold it to him. I asked him if he knew where it was now, as I'd be interested in getting it back—"Oh, I took it to a party and some drunk sat on it and broke the neck …". Grrr!!

In this photo, you can see (circled on the wall) the weapon used to kill and dismember the drummer, when he failed to count to four several times in a row.

On the road in the early 70's with my '63 SG Special. A motel in Tulsa or Austin if memory serves.

My first guitar, an early 70s Gibson SG that I flipped the strings on (just about impossible to find a lefty before the internet). A friend talked me into a set of Dimarzio Super Distortions. I had that guitar (and only that guitar) from the mid 70s through the mid 90s.
No guitars in my life after that until AGF and Rondo around March 2014:

Pretty much the coolest thread ever. I had to go dig some out.
Got my first acoustic around 7th grade, and a Tele in maybe 8th. There weren't any pics back then as far as I recall.
But by...must have been 2008-2009, I caught the AGF bug. Then came Les Paul's and Strats. I think these are a Yamaha Studio Lord 500 and a Squier Strat that I wrote my first 'good' pop punk song on. Then about 70 more guitars came and went...literally.

Yes, I had long hair at one time too. This was probably '97ish. This was a backyard wedding party. I remember we played for about 4 hours, packed up and went to a biker bar and gigged again. It was a long day. I rocked nothing but the Ric 330 during that era.

Circa 1985 in North Brunswick NJ....POS Squier...one of the worst guitars I ever bought...faulty switch, POTS crappy...I ended up giving it away after a vinyl wrap project went horribly wrong..loved my leather jacket though....lasted another 20 years almost
