I sure hope it leads to.some improvements. It seemed like more of an "I'm gonna get maximum dollars for my stuff" place when Etsy bought it.

I have made purchases from Reverb without issue. I recently bought a Celestion speaker and the seller messaged that it had shipped but there is no tracking info available. I like to see when things are arriving. Not a Reverb issue though, it seems to be a seller issue. Not a biggy, it will get here soon I hope.

just bought a guitar off reverb a couple weeks ago, NGD is pending as I've been too lazy to write one, lol. Other than it taking me 6 months to work out a deal with the guy, it was a very smooth transition. Just a case of I really really wanted this particular guitar, and the guy thinking it was worth a lot more than I did, but we finally came to a compromise. I just hope the new owners don't ruin it, only make it better or leave it alone.

I would say that's probably more of a shipping company issue...I've found tracking info to be very unreliable. I know I've told the story here before of how I once shipped something from NYC to Las Vegas, and it made it all the way before any tracking info at all ever showed up.
This is something I'm curious about:
Looking to the future, Mandelbrot adds: “We’ve got a lot of exciting changes in the works. We’re expanding access to music-making software on Reverb and we’re getting ready to pilot a new option for selling that allows musicians to get paid faster, while skipping the listing and shipping process."

Not sure how the whole "skipping the listing and shipping process" is supposed to work if you're selling stuff. It almost sounds like they're suggesting a "Reverb does the listing and shipping for you" thing?

Maybe, but you can build a tele or strat to your own specs for cheaper than they sell them. And you could use better parts. Basically you just have to bolt it together.
Sad thing is when i see Marshall selling bluetooth speakers at Sams Club, hope Fender doesn't switch markets like that.

If I could only bolt together a ToneMaster Deluxe reverb, I'd be in heaven !

I’ve sold about 10 items in the last three months and the fees are ridiculous. I hope there’s some change for the better, but I’m not holding my breath.

What is the percentage about? I know Ebay has gone up over the years and is pretty terrible right now.

I've had better luck with customer support since the purchase. Had a buyer basically pull the, ask for a discount after the purchase by making up a problem, scam. I offered a full refund if returned, since it really did seem like something I could solve in 30 seconds, and he refused. Reverb was very supportive in questions I had about this. Granted, he didn't play out his scam with much forethought, he made it pretty easy for REverb to judge in my favor.
