I saw that the other day. My initial thought was who has 2" thick shelves made of solid sapele just sitting around their house? The shaping of the top is something I would certainly lose my mind on somewhere along the way.

Yeah, I stumbled across this video Sat night... At least he didn't use finger planes to carve the top. Then you get to lose your mind and wreck your fingers! I would have sent that out to be CNC'd. I thought the same thing about the "shelves" too. Someone in the comments asked if it was customary in his country to have thick shelves made out of exotic wood. :)

Beautiful guitar though!

I love how the little girl at the beginning of the video is seen graduating from college by the end :)

It’s a beautiful guitar and he is quite skilled. I want to see part 2 where he will display how it plays and sounds
