I just had a strange vision of a possible AI application I think will happen. Just the same way karaoke invaded the world of gigging musicians trying to make a buck, AI will do the same with its own twist. Here's how I think it will surface... Any person goes up on stage to start performing any known song. The AI will recognize the song, the key, and tempo, and will just start filling in as the whole band with its interpretation of the most popular arrangement of that piece. This makes me very sad for the state of the art, but I'm surprised we don't already see it happening.

That would co$t someone a shit pot full of money to get the AI program copyright clearances to do that. Are you unaware of the law suits presently in the system because of AI's MIS-use of copyrighted works???

Lawsuits could only come after the violations, and proving copyright violations is always difficult. I'm no advocate for it, in fact I've gone after people for violating my copyrights. But pay ASCAP and BMI and SESAC to do covers and you're good. And if you don't, most of the violations would not be worth prosecuting, being small venue one-off performances. For any gray area, add a couple notes or such, and it's pretty easy to beat the claims. Again, not an advocate, but I see it as highly likely to occur.
