No guitar news today other than we had a fun practice last night. We played "Hotel California" and "Bad Fish" bluegrass style. Fun (and funny) stuff.

Some of you may remember my puppy, Finnegan (Finn). Well, he's two now and has grown into a wonderful dog.

Yesterday he had a small procedure done on his leg (removed a small skin tag that was bothering him). 20 minutes and three stitches later the vet comes out and says "Went great! No running or swimming for two weeks."

Me: (speechless)

Finn lives to run and swim. This is going to be a long two weeks.

Hey, if he didn't get a cone, that's pretty good news. One of my dogs thought I was torturing her because she had to wear a cone for a few days. As for Finn, I understand... broke my arm at 5 years old, the 1st week of June, no swimming all summer.

Bump.

This isn't necessarily guitar content but it's content. As slow as things have been on the site one would think that it would last on the board more than two hours before disappearing.

Hoping for a quick recovery for Finn. Maybe the time can pass more easily if he watches rabbit and squirrel videos on YouTube. My cats love that stuff.

As for the site being slow, the most users ever online here occurred a little over a week ago. 466 users were here at the same time on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 1:40 pm.

My son's lab, Banana, is going through something similar. She had a torn ACL fixed on April 19th and isn't allowed to play until August 15th and the dog is instinctively a bird dog (the daughter of two competitive bird dogs).
