Incoming NTV

This week I had a few offer volleys with a shop listing a guitar on Reverb. They declined my first offer instead of countering, saying they couldn't go that low but they did tell me what they would accept. It's overseas, so a fluctuating exchange rate was at play. I had left room for negotiating, so I sent a higher offer, not quite their number, but what I thought the guitar topped out at with the exorbitant overseas shipping included. They countered this time, asking for about 3% more, but I saw no more negotiating room left so I politely declined it. As a direct result, my main TV immediately died. Apparently that money insists on being spent so I was unexpectedly up very late shopping TVs. Next week I'll get that TV and will think of it as replacing a guitar, but it will actually be a wall hanger.
