Trolling the bay, not really expecting to find anything worth bidding on, I ran across an interesting looking lefty kit. Honestly if it was hollow, I might have considered it. But here's my real question: Anyone see those pickups fitting in the pre-cut routes?
For reference, here's the listing:

Ric toaster pickups dont. They sit on top of the body. The channels allow the wiring to get where they need to go. This is correct.

Ah. I didn't know that, thanks. Now if I see those pickups on a guitar, I will no longer automatically think "maybe I could swap in P90s".
Edit: The really sad part there is I have a Harm 1 with toaster pickups I've never looked under.

Yes, I think they are flush mount. Interesting kit they are selling.

looks nice. If they had a righty I'd be interested. 20 3/4 scale I assume. Easy Beatles /blues rhythm reach.
I wonder if that big 2 piece heel block is normal? Maybe glue joint is better than some big heel just held on by strength of grain? IDK.

I agree it looks nice. The thought of pickups without adjustable heights just bugs me (despite liking my Casino with dogears). It made me wonder why that didn't bother me with my first Harm-1 because it has toasters. So I took it out to play today and behold - they're mounted differently and are adjustable. They didn't bug me because they're not top mounted.
And that restarted my cycle of thinking "Since soapbar P90s would fit inside those routes, there'd be no routing needed on the already finished top, I'd just need to create a set of rings to cover the gap"... The good news is I now have a different Harm with P90s, so I'm not as likely to do anything drastic.
